A Thousand Thieves
Trixie Whitley’s new video for “A Thousand Thieves” is an emotional storm, directed by filmmaker Matthu Placek. The daughter of blues legend Chris Whitley, Trixie grew up between Belgium and New York in a family of passionate musicians. This video was shot while Whitley stood in a Balenciaga dress singing into four high-powered fans over a 14-hour day to get this single take. The video’s concept and imagery is so simple yet so beautiful and it plays along perfectly with the song to evoke the emotion of the song’s lyrics.
